How long does Invisalign take?+
It depends on your case. Minor corrections can take around six months, while more complex cases can run up to three years. We'll give you an estimated timeframe once we've scanned your teeth.
Will people be able to tell I'm wearing them?+
The aligners are clear and fit closely over your teeth, so they're very difficult to notice in everyday conversation.
Are they uncomfortable?+
You'll usually feel some pressure or tightness for a day or two after moving to a new aligner. That's the teeth shifting, and it settles quickly.
Can I eat and drink with them in?+
You take the aligners out to eat and drink anything other than water, then brush and pop them back in. That means no food restrictions.
How often do I need to come in?+
Most patients are seen roughly every 8–10 weeks so we can check progress and hand over your next sets of aligners.
How much does Invisalign cost?+
Cost varies with how much tooth movement is needed. We provide a written quote at your appointment, and any eligible health fund rebate is claimed on the spot through HICAPS.
